Carnegie Mellon University’s Yttri Lab was a renovation of four existing, separate biology lab spaces to be transformed into a highly computational lab and research space within Mellon Institute. Scope of work included demolition and replacement of walls, doors ceilings and MEP & FP systems as well as finishes to the multiple rooms. The program included areas for students to work, three separate labs including holding rooms with faraday cages for mice, and an office.
